Gas Meter
If there is a leak or other problem with the flow of LP gas, the gas meter will shut off the gas.
Type S, SB, and H gas meter have more advanced security functions, such as shutting off the gas in the event of a major earthquake.
| When a large amount of gas flows out | The gas meter will automatically shut off the gas if you open a gas tap that is not in use or if an unnaturally large amount of gas flows out due to a dislodged rubber pipe. |

| When you forget to turn off the gas | The gas meter will automatically shut off the gas if the gas is used for a longer period of time than necessary: such as the case you leave the bathtub water heater on. |
| In case of a large earthquake | Meters equipped with a seismic sensor will automatically shut off the gas if it detects a large earthquake (seismic intensity 5 or higher) while the gas is in use. |
How to restore the gas use by yourself after the gas meter shuts off the gas
1. Close all gas and appliance taps.
2. Press the reset button and release it immediately. Then wait for one or two minutes.
*The button may have a cap.
*After pressing the reset button, the gas meter will check for gas leakage for one or two minutes to make sure that it is safe. If there is no abnormality, the red light (or LCD) will stop blinking and the gas will be used as usual. (If it does not return to normal or if you have any questions, please contact us.)
Gas leak alarm
The gas leak alarm quickly detects a gas leak and notifies you with a buzzer or voice recording.
CO (carbon monoxide) alarm
CO alarm detects CO generated by incomplete combustion and alerts you with a buzzer or voice recording.
Fuse gas tap
Fuse gas tap automatically shuts off the gas passage and stops the gas flow when the rubber pipe is dislodged or the gas tap is accidentally opened.
