Saibu Gas Co., Ltd (Representative Director and President: Takuji KATO) has taken Final Investment Decision (FID) for the expansion project of 'Hibiki LNG Terminal' (“Project”) by constructing the 3rd LNG tank and related facilities.

The Project will contribute to establishing a low-carbon society by meeting domestic natural gas demands for carbon neutrality, while enhancing the stability of supply for our customers. It will also enable us to promote our global business through the utilization of Hibiki LNG Terminal. Additionally, it will support realizing gas decarbonization through the introduction of e-methane in the future, while strengthening energy security as a safeguard against unforeseen circumstances.

Saibu Gas Group will continue to contribute to the achievement of carbon neutrality by 2050 through the realization of further carbon reduction and decarbonization in the Kyushu region.
