Service Overview

Saibu Gas offers “ISO Tank Containers Services” that ensure the safe, stable, and efficient delivery of LNG using tank containers conforming to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standards. This enables us to flexibly transport and deliver LNG to meet the needs of customers in Japan and overseas, as well as to satisfy the needs of regions with undeveloped gas pipelines.

Smooth coordination between LNG filling and loading to ships

The Hibiki LNG Terminal and the Hibiki Container Terminal are located nearby. As a result, LNG loaded into ISO tank containers at the Hibiki LNG Terminal can be quickly transported on land to the Container Terminal over a distance of approximately 5 km, enabling smooth overseas shipment of LNG.

Strengths of Our ISO Tank Containers Services

In recent years, demand for LNG has been growing rapidly in Southeast Asian countries. On the other hand, in these regions, it is not easy to develop infrastructure such as LNG receiving terminals and pipelines in time to meet the speed of demand growth. This situation is a major challenge in maintaining a stable supply of LNG and developing new markets.
The Hibiki LNG Terminal offers excellent access to East Asian countries such as China, South Korea, and Taiwan, as well as Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Leveraging this geographical advantage, Saibu Gas is able to offer a variety of LNG supply services, including small-lot LNG delivery using ISO tank containers.

    The Hibiki LNG Terminal has 12 loading facilities for LNG tank trucks, with an additional six currently under construction. By further increasing the availability of loading facilities, we can flexibly respond to the diverse needs of our customers.

  • Japan's Only ISO Tank Container Hub with Capacity for 220 Units

    The Hibiki Container Terminal is a base for storing and loading ISO tank containers. With facilities and systems capable of storing a large number of ISO tank containers, we support our customers’ business development in Japan and overseas.
